Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Active monitoring of Monetary Authority of Singapore regulatory developments
  • Develop, assess product, compliance and operational risks and develop risk management strategies
  • Develop, conduct periodic internal reviews and audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followed
  • Periodic discussion on compliance issues with management or broking staffs
  • Develop, conduct and direct the internal investigation of compliance issues
  • Develop, maintain and update documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received or investigation outcomes

 

Requirements:

  • Min. Bachelors' Degree, preferably in business management, Insurance, Economics or Accountancy
  • At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in financial industry, preferably in the insurance industry doing compliance-related work
  • Insurance qualifications e.g. BCP, PGI, ComGI and Health Insurance or Compliance-related certifications preferred e.g. Diploma in Compliance, Associate of ACI would be highly preferred
  • Sound knowledge of the insurance industry, particularly in the area of regulatory/industry requirements
  • Able to commence immediately or on short notice
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Detail oriented and analytical
  • Excellent team player and good work attitude
