Job Description

Our client is a global pharmaceuticals company. They are seeking a Compliance and Ethics Senior Manager who will carry out compliance responsibilities to support businesses across Greater China and comply with applicable rules and regulations.

 

The abovementioned responsibilities will include setting compliance objectives to ensure a streamlined approach to governance and assurance. In doing so, the successful candidate will work closely with regional and local senior leadership to ensure the implementation and maintenance of the company’s compliance policies. The successful candidate will also identify and manage key compliance risks, ensuring their coverage by implementing relevant checks and balances and ensure that behavior in the company meets its Code of Business Standards. Additionally, he/she will implement remediation plans as appropriate and conduct compliance trainings for internal staff. He/she will advise on practical amendments to the company’s compliance framework, addressing any ad hoc risks and design and implement compliance programs in the integration of any new or acquired business. The successful candidate will also advise on and implement privacy policies and maintain good, transparent relations with all key stakeholders.

 

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of risk management or compliance experience, sound knowledge of compliance laws and regulations and be fluent in written and spoken English. Healthcare compliance experience is preferred.
