Job Description

 

We are looking for a Communication and Marketing Specialist to join our Team in a permanent, full time position. You will be a proactive individual with strong reporting and analytics skills, an eye for detail, and an ear on what’s happening in the market.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in events
  • Uncover stories, gather testimonials and possible PR opportunities
  • Executing and measuring communications and marketing campaigns that are audience-focused and drive maximum engagement  
  • Building and maintaining key relationships with internal and external stakeholders – including portfolio and project management and delivering collateral for key sponsorship and partnership contracts
  • Creating and delivering communication materials that enhances the company brand
  • Conduct market research and present findings
  • Identifying insights and trends
  • Develop marketing and communications strategy
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, CRM, analytics and customer insight to maximise our marketing activities and share these learnings across the team
  • Assist the marketing team with traditional general marketing activities

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum local diploma or relevant field (Preferably)
  • Experience undertaking marketing campaigns for medium-sized organisations or events (Preferably)
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills in Office 365 suites 
  • Social media competency including advertising and reporting 
  • A strong understanding of social media and digital platforms, how to utilise them to build an engaged supporter base
  • Ability to be innovative, anticipate areas of focus, and develop a strategic approach to problems 
  • Effective people skills
  • Efficient communication skills (Listening, written and oral)
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Effective planning, time management and reporting skills 
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships
