Job Description

 

This position is responsible to create and grow business in the Multifunctional Printers and Document Solutions.  The person will develop and maintain favorable relationships with existing and potential customers in order to increase revenue.  The candidate must be able to identify and create sales opportunities.  This role requires 90% outdoor, is a quota bearer and direct sales accountability.

 

 

Account Management (50%)

 

  • Maintain and grow existing sales for each customer account
  • Analyze sales opportunities and prepare a monthly/quarterly sales forecast
  • Ability to seek and identify target customers
  • Work closely with branch offices for global account sales opportunities
  • Conduct regular customer visits
  • Communicate with customers and company stakeholders for new demands and new requests
  • Negotiate pricing, prepare quotations and ability to close sales
  • Prepare weekly activity reports and monthly summaries
     

New Business Development (50%)

 

  • Generate business through both cold calling and following up on generated leads
  • Promote current and new products to existing and new customers.
  • Work with customers and internal stakeholders to support inquiries through the sales cycle
  • Work with Sales Administration Department to manage customer credit, inventory, accounts receivable and delivery issues
  • Review contracts (Leasing, Warranty Agreements, etc.)

 

Job Qualifications :

 

  • Degree preferably in business, or engineering field
  • Fluent in English and Japanese (to liaise with English and Japanese speaking clients)
  • Experience in the sales of IT/Printers product category
  • Have the ability to complete tasks accurately and thoroughly
  • 1-3 years related sales experience, ideally in a high technology field
