Job Description


  • Responsible for the overall kitchen operations including ordering of food/stock and ensuring ample amount of stock, kitchen and dishwashing area are properly cleaned on a regular schedule and meet company and government sanitary standards
  • Responsible for designing and creating new menu, reviewing menu;
  • Ensure and maintain highest standard and quality of recipes, food presentation up to standard, correct food proportions and food served timely
  • Responsible for keeping tabs on food cost, wastage, delivery, cleaning schedules, employee hours, profitability and other administrative duties according to company policy
  • Responsible for mentoring and guiding all kitchen staff, ensuring they are properly trained in food preparation and equipped with knowledge on kitchen safety techniques
  • Possess leadership to rally the kitchen team during busy hours, resolving conflicts and getting the job done
  • Possess problem solving skills in dealing with any other matters that may arise
  • Able to communicate effectively and clearly on food preparation methods
  • Participate in cross functional activities, including automation projects
  • Trainer for kitchen staff as well as train a trainer
  • Assignment from management


  • Candidate must possess a Diploma related qualification or higher or similar relevant working experience
  • Has minimum 3 years and above kitchen experience
  • Has strong leadership skills and a team motivator, willing to groom and train the team
  • Able to analyse and solve problem
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possess a valid food hygiene certificate
  • Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
