Job Description

You are responsible for managing and supervising a team of support staff to ensure the smooth operations of the Senior Care Centre (SCC). Duties include staff management, client's behavior management, client's enquiry, feedback and complaint.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the centre's such as scheduling of staff roster, services provided to the clients, paperwork administration, etc.
  • Ensure that recruitment is in line with the requirements for the centre
  • Assist the Manager to achieve objectives of the organization
  • Be proactive and establish new programmes and activities to enhance the well-being of the clients
  • Keep abreast of any trends and changes in the eldercare's industry in order to stay competitive and up to date
  • Supervise and monitor the work of the staff for the centre to ensure that each member fulfills his job functions according to the standards of measurement set so that the needs of the clients are satisfied
  • Plan and design training for staff to improve existing operation of the SCC to increase the overall efficiency, as well as adherence to organization's policy and procedure
  • Assists to collect and maintain statistical information needed for ad-hoc and regular reports
  • Participate and compliance to ISO audits for the centre

  • Degree in Business Management / Nursing / Therapy / Social Work or other relevant fields
  • Preferably minimum 5 years' experience in management
  • Preferably experience working with MOH and other relevant stakeholders in healthcare industry or government agencies in general
  • Hands-on working experience with the elderly in a community setting
  • Experience working with dementia clients or medical social work an advantage
  • Confident, matured, independent and enjoys team work
  • Ability to speak local dialects an advantage
