Job Description

 

1. Lead and manage Early Intervention Programme (EIP) effectively

  • Define clear strategic thrust and priorities for the program and lead strategic planning and development to meet organizational goals and student outcomes.
  • Oversee staff recruitment, deployment, learning and development.
  • Ensure professional growth of staff and provide coaching to the team. Facilitate strong working relationships between teams and consultants/therapists.
  • Actively seek opportunities to build the business, craft the program’s marketing strategy that incorporate key differentiators and lead promotion and marketing efforts to meet set objectives.
  • Oversee the on-going evaluation and continuous improvement efforts to ensure the program’s long term sustainability.

2. Lead in curriculum related matters of our Autism Focused Early Intervention Programme

  • Ensure curriculum related matters are in line with the philosophy and objectives of the programme and organization to meet the learning needs of children on the spectrum.
  • Develop and implement the most evidence informed teaching pedagogy for autism.
  • Oversee the implementation of the programme in an autism friendly and developmentally appropriate manner.

3. Oversee operations of the programme

  • Oversee admissions and placement of students.
  • Create, develop and review processes and systems to ensure consistent adherence to government, organizational and programme standards and processes.
  • Ensure safe and conducive autism-friendly environment for learning.
  • Financial oversight of programme.

4. Build and maintain client and partner relationships

  • Communicate regularly with staff, parents, stakeholders, government and external partners.
  • Conduct parent communication sessions.

5. Coordinate ARC(S) and EIP related programmes as assigned

  • Undertake coordination and support to ARC(S) related events and activities where necessary.

Requirements

  • Passion in working with individuals with autism.
  • Degree in Early Childhood or Psychology, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy.
  • At least 5 years relevant experience working with young children.
  • A strong people leader with minimum 3 years of leadership experience.
  • Passion for developing positive and collaborative working relationships.
  • Enjoys learning and willing to develop technical skills in autism.
