Job Description


Help us win high value, high impact work by contributing to our response to procurements from international agencies and governments in various countries. Prepare compelling marketing presentations for our private sector clients and help train other staff on business development activities. Support with marketing campaigns and social media engagement across all online platforms.  Keep our business development information systems and processes up to date, and continuously improving.


Duties for this role:


Business Development

  • Respond to business opportunities, in particular by:
  • Preparing Expressions of Interest for suitable public procurement opportunities
  • Keep business development tools and information updated



  • Prepare high impact marketing presentations showcasing Castalia’s service offerings and expertise, for both private and publicclients
  • Thoroughly understand and clearly convey the established brand voice through all marketing materials
  • Craft creative and persuasive content for a global audience using multiple channels including but not limited to social media, website, blogs, paid ads, and marketing campaigns
  • Help with digital marketing, content optimization, and SEO implementation to ensure that content aligns with digital best practices


  • dentifying opportunities to improve how we do business development and marketing
  • Working with managers and others to develop and implement improvements
  • Train and coach others in following our business development approaches successfully
  • Assist the BD Manager with ad-hoc BD tasks as required


Who we’re looking for:



  • Bachelor’s degree or Local diploma in marketing, communications or a similar field
  • Highly proficient in English—writes succinctly and persuasively, in plain English with ability to translate complex concepts/commentary into easily understandable written/spoken words
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to translate content into a compelling and high-quality presentation materials.
  • Gets things done, delivers on commitments, self-starter
  • Supportive of others, a team player, and with good communication skills
  • Highly attentive to detail


  • Experience preparing Proposals, preferably for a professional services firm in a public-procurement environment
  • Proficiency in the use of social media as a marketing tool
  • Proficiency in the use of graphic design  as a marketing tool
  • Experience with website content management and publishing (e.g. WordPress)
  • Creative thinking
