Job Description

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • Promote Toll and the integrated supply chain offerings to target industry groups in Singapore.
  • Drive new business in Singapore.
  • Manage tender management (Sales2 Delivery).

 

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Hunt for  new business potentials across verticals
  • Establish and build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Work with various stakeholders (eg. Vertical, Commercial, Solutions, Legal) collaboratively to ensure effective deliverables in terms of solutions, costings and pricing  
  • Maintain sales pipeline via MS CRM
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs

 

KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES

Growth and Innovation

Building Sales Pipeline and achieving Annual Sales target – to be agreed upon

 

Maximising Profitability and Return on Capital

To work with stakeholders(internal) and contractors(external) to achieve effective costing so as to offer competitive sell rates.

 

Putting the Customer First

Provide accurate and timely market intelligence data to support business planning and decisions so as to upkeep/exceed service level requirements/expectations with customers and internal stakeholders.

 

SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB

Technical

  • Experience in Business Development in Logistics industry
  • Have a good understanding of supply chain functions
  • Excellent Microsoft Office are an advantage to assist with proposal development
  • Experience in cost modelling, management accounting and budgetting

 

Business

  • Prepare operational cost models and be able to commit to the success of the selected design
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to forecast profitability of an operation based on key assumptions and available data

 

Human Relations

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to work with all level

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Tertiary:                      Degree in Supply Chain and equivalent

Computer Literacy:    Strong in MS Office
