Business Assistant (Export Sales) @ YCK - 5 Days, Max $3500
Our client is one of the largest carpet companies in Singapore established in 1936, with a dedicated staff of 50 people providing world-class service to more than 500 clients throughout Asia and the Asia - Pacific region. They specialize in importing, exporting, stocking and installing all types of floorcoverings from all over the world. They currently export to over 20 countries mainly in South Asia and Asia Pacific region.
Salary commensurate with sales experience.
Working Hours: Mon - Fri 8.30 am to 6 pm
- Initially assist Business Director (Export Sales team)
- Eventually handle sales to overseas customers independently
- Issue purchase orders, proforma invoices & sales orders
- Liaise with overseas suppliers and overseas customers
- Liaise with colleagues in warehouse, inventory, shipping, accounts & design depts.
- Handle communications via email/phone and documents/samples related to export sales
- Singaporeans / SPR
- Candidate must possess at least 'A' Level/ Diploma preferably in Business
- Minimum 2 – 3 years of work experience in related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Independent, decisive, detail-oriented, and professional
- Proficient in Microsoft Office especially MS Excel
- Able to start work within short notice
