Job Description

Facilities Manager

Salary: $5000-$7000

Leading a team to look into all aspects of building maintenance and security operations for Central Offices (“CO”), includes conducting inspections, coordinating maintenance/ improvement programs and projects, compile data for reporting and budgeting.

Responsibilities:

• Overall in charge of administration, management and supervision of all improvement projects and maintenance programmes for COs
• Effective planning and management of activities of outsourced service partners, providing supervision and guidance
• Check and ensure maintenance of all systems are being carried out according to plan and contracted scope of work and manage facilities related to timely repair and replacement work
• Develop and implement policies, protocol and procedures to maintain full compliance with the prevailing legislative acts and regulatory requirements
• Manage and oversee operations and the implementation and maintenance of internal systems to ensure protocol are followed and met
• Conduct regular inspections at all the CO premises for potential safety hazards and unsafe conditions, initiate corrective measures to maintain a secure, safe and healthy work environment (the inspections should include after office hours if need be)
• Assist in emergency management and contingency planning. Attend to fault/ alarm calls as required
• Responsible for tender process for maintenance contract and project works
• Responsible for security operations of COs
• Management of Tenants and internal stakeholders within the COs

Requirements:

Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Facilities Management with 6-8 years relevant working experience.

• Well versed in all facets of facilities management with general knowledge of all real estate functions including planning, development, asset management and project management. Experienced in working with mission critical facilities like Data Centre would be an added advantage
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, able to work under pressure in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• A disciplined team player and a self-starter
• Computer literate with knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

 

Facilities Engineer (IT Projects) (contract)

Salary: $3500-$5000


responsible for overseeing the overall building maintenance and security operation for all Central Offices (CO), including conducting inspection, coordinating maintenance/ improvement programmes and projects, compiling data for reporting and forecasting future needs and costs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in operations and implementation of facilities management programmes, including formulating programmes relating to routine and periodic maintenance works, plan and implement the cyclical replacement/ enhancement works for all Central Offices
• Support Manager for preparation of operation and capital budget, monitoring and control to ensure completion within time and cost objectives
• Assist in contract administration and management, including calling, evaluation, negotiation and award recommendation of tenders/quotations
• Support the effective planning and management of activities of outsourced service partners, providing supervision and managing their performance
• Coordinate with internal associate engineers and the appointed managing agent to ensure maintenance of all systems are being carried out according to plan and contracted scope of work and manage facilities related to timely repair and replacement work
• Assist to investigate, develop and implement solutions, trouble shoot on day-to-day operational problems of facilities and building
• Assist to develop and implement policies, protocol and procedures to maintain full compliance with the prevailing legislative acts and regulatory requirements
• Conduct periodical quality control inspections at all Central Offices for potential safety hazards and unsafe conditions, initiate corrective measures to maintain a secure, safe and healthy work environment (the inspections should include after office hours if needed)
• Attend to all emergency/crisis on and off hours and provide a timely response to incidents as they arise and assist in emergency management and contingency planning
• Assist in internal and external audits

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Facilities Management with 3-5 years relevant working experience.

• Those with Data Centre facilities management advantage.

* Fresh graduate can be considered; Training and guidance provided.
• Well versed in all facets of facilities management with general knowledge of all real estate functions including planning, development, asset management and project management.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
