Job Description

  • Conduct screening and diagnostic audiological assessments, for the adult populations
  • Provide Hearing Aid Services/Management
  • Hearing aid evaluations: Conduct hearing aid trials, counsel and provide recommendation of appropriate hearing aids
  • Hearing aid fitting: Patients are fitted with chosen hearing aid, counsel on device usage, warranty, proper care and general maintenance
  • Hearing aid follow-up: Verify and validate hearing aid setting. Conduct outcome measures to determine the benefit hearing aid fitting
  • Provide counseling and financial services (hearing aid subsidy related) to patients, caregivers and all concerned
  • Liaison with relevant stakeholders/other professionals pertaining to case management or clinical related matters
  • Attend to ad-hoc assignments assigned by Reporting Officer
  • Facilitate ordering, shipping and receiving of hearing aids, cochlear implant and its accessories
  • Monitor inventories of clinic consumables, hearing aid and cochlear implant accessories’ stocks
  • Liaise with BME/Vendors for equipment maintenance
  • Maintain hospital and departmental clinical records and collate clinical data effectively
  • Involve in research activities as co-principal investigators
  • Assist in scheduling of patient appointments using SAP especially for advanced audiology tests, special arrangements and NR patients
  • Attend to e-mail and telephone inquiries from local and overseas patients
  • Provide in-service lectures to clinic staff and in-house lectures for medical officers on basic audiology topics and updates



  • Minimal requirement of a Bachelor in Audiology (Honors) degree. A Masters in Audiology is preferred
  • CCC-A/CCP/CAC/registered/certified audiologist (in other countries or with the Society of Audiology Professionals Singapore) is preferred
  • Clinical experience not required but a minimum of 200 direct clinical
  • hours as part of the curriculum is required before graduation
  • Clinical experience of 1-2 years in a similar setting is preferred/ Relevant qualification but no experience can be considered 
  • Relevant experience such as clinical support from hearing aid and cochlear implant companies is preferred
