Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Settlements of Custody and Investment Operations Centre, this person will have the responsibility to provide operational support on new product/market implementation and business requirements, process automation initiatives and daily operational matters. 


  • Work with the section head and division management on the review of new product/market proposals and business initiatives including system and operational evaluation, documentation (including training materials), co-ordination from design, testing to implementation and engagement with the relevant stakeholders
  • Provide cross-team operational coverage, adhere to processing KPIs, service levels and compliance with internal controls and relevant legislation, regulations and bank policies
  • Undertake process and system review and enhancements to achieve optimum productivity and process efficiency
  • In-depth understanding of product parameters, policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements for domestic and global markets
  • Good knowledge of securities/custody operations workflows, settlement procedures and systems
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with the business partners and clients and drive client service standards for the division
  • Carry out tasks as assigned by management


  • A minimum of 5 to 8 years’ experience in securities settlements preferably in securities/custody operations/technology
  • In-depth knowledge of Singapore securities market and depository clearing and settlement framework and systems is a must
  • Excellent practical knowledge of domestic and global market operations and well-versed with relevant legislation and regulations
  • Must have prior experience in driving initiatives and change implementations; A motivated and driven change agent who is prepared to accept challenges
  • Effective communication with good writing and presentation skills
  • Strong risk control/compliance mindset
  • Proficient in MS software, especially Excel; Experience with automation tools preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal / leadership / client-servicing skills
  • Ability to work in a structured, high volume, time-sensitive, high-risk and demanding environment
  • Possess good analytical skills, meticulous and good learning ability with great attention to details and multi-tasking
