Job Description

Assistant Manager, Regional Finance

A growing FMCG SME is seeking finance professional to join our champion team to bring the entity to the next level.  You will provide leadership guidance and actively support our strategic implementation, including new oversea venture working from our HQ in Singapore.  We welcome aspiring individual who is looking to further enhance professional development to apply.   


Key responsibilities:

  • Team lead in the implementation of governance, risk and control through best industry practices and adherence to statutory requirements of the local countries.
  • Full spectrum of the finance controllership, including leading a small team of accounting.  
  • Close working collaboration on FX transactions that oversees procurement activities and cash-flow forecast.  
  • Provide leadership guidance, support implementation on lean program entity wide.  
  • Be the liaison with external auditor, banker, government authorities on local statutory compliance and submission of government statistical survey.  
  • Track and report on performance dashboard, variance analysis and commentary, conduct regular business reviews.  
  • Support new business cases, data gathering as part of investment appraisal exercise. 

 

Requirements:

  • CPA or equivalent certification in business/ economic/ accounting education.
  • At least 7 years professional experiences in general accounting, MNC and manufacturing environment, including 3 years in supervisory position.
  • Experience in managing banker relation on funding of projects and FX activities.
  • Entrepreneurial with high spirit, flexible, lean mindset and passion to grow team.
  • Highly proficient user of Excel modelling, SAP/ Navision or experience in ERP implementation is added advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills; and possess the maturity and aptitude to interact with all levels of staff within the organisation as well as with external parties.
  • Strong time management and organisation skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast pace environment
