Responsibilities : -
Assist to lead, develop and coach a team of Procurement Executives.
Process purchase orders for the category in a timely and orderly manner, review requisition requests by helping to verify the accuracy and specifications of the order.
Generate detailed reports on a monthly basis for analytical purposes, to help review supply performance and identify trends for the price.
Build and regularly updating the company’s internal inventory/product management system, and material requirement plan ensure no material shortage and excess inventory.
Sourcing and negotiate price, payment term and delivery date in the best
interest of the Company.
Maintain the approved vendor/supplier list, conduct re-qualification as needed.
Good understanding of quality system and supplier auditing
Communicate and work closely with both Singapore and overseas team to help with product inquiries, sales orders, claims for warranty, and other adhoc administrative tasks during time of promos/marketing/event needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree,
Engineering (Others), Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Managers specializing in Logistics/Supply Chain, Manufacturing or equivalent
Candidate must possesses strong problem solving skills, able to act and make sound decision independently
Strong in emphasis on accuracy and details
Able to work under pressure and effectively manage multiple deadlines and projects
Positive attitude and can-do approach, be prepared to go beyond the call of duty as needed
