Job Description

Wine Connection is seeking an experienced, matured and driven Assistant Manager for their multiple outlets. The role is responsible for overall operation, coordination and supervision of the assigned food outlet, in compliance with policies and procedures of the restaurant with the direction of the Restaurant Manager. Ensuring optimum guest satisfaction and maximizing profit for outlet is also a key indicator of performance. 

 

Job Responsibilites:

 

• Maintain effective regular communications with relevant personnel at all levels.
• Identify and delegate responsibilities to staff to ensure objectives are met through excellent service
• Creating a positive guest experience and a positive work experience for employees
• Managing the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager
• Handle guest and staff complaints in a courteous and effective manner
• Exceed standards in food quality, safety, and cleanliness through management of the restaurant
• Manage Food & Beverage operations while promoting company’s culture and values
• Coordinate strategic, and operational activities related to Food and Beverage
• Train and develop staff in outlet to maximise performance
• Lead and inspire individuals to be part of a committed team
• Ensure that the service team adheres and comply to company’s policies and procedures
• Suggest new company policies and procedures for the outlet
• Reviewing operational challenges to identify issues obstructing performance
• Provide coaching and feedback to staff
• Develop and update product knowledge and accurately deliver it to staff
• Monitor and maintain the operating systems of the outlet
• To maintain a sound knowledge of the menu and presentation standards for food and drinks
• Managing ERP related tasks and responsibilities as required in the role
• Carry out any other duties as per reporting manger and Food & Beverage Operations Manager

 

Job Requirments:

• Prior experience in Food & Beverage is required
• Able to use and manage outlet’s operating system
• Presentable

• Attention to detail and able to lead a team
• Able to conduct inventories
• Cost conscious
• Able to settle any guest transaction via Food & Beverage Operational System (POS)
• Hospitality minded and guest focused
• Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules as per manager’s request, including weekends, holidays and overtime.
