Job Description

An established organization is inviting suitable candidates to join the team:

 

Assistant Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the FP&A section
  • In-charge of Internal Audit related matters and ensure that reported items are resolved and dealt with accordingly
  • Coordinate and ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the Group and across departments are relevant. This includes that each department performs an annual review of all their policies and sign off on the SOP tracker prior to the financial year end
  • Present the Group’s monthly rolling financial forecast pack to the FP&A Manager for review
  • Complete the Group’s monthly cash flow forecast
  • Complete the Group’s Capital Expenditure forecast, which also includes collating the Capex Expenditure for both manpower and non-manpower
  • Assess the Returns to the FP&A Manager / Head of Finance for clearance
  • Develop templates and legal document for the Group. The individual is also to review the existing contract templates to ensure its validity and relevance
  • Review and vet the following document for potential business opportunities: Review of Contracts, Review of P&L
  • Guide and coach junior team members
  • Continuously develop and enhance staff’s competency level
  • Identify non value-added processes within the department and seek solutions for the Group (including increasing productivity). These items are to be presented and discussed with the FP&A Manager
  • Embark on ad-hoc and special projects

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, ACCA o0r accredited CPA professional qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in FP&A
  • Strong logic thinking, good communication ability and leadership
  • Prior experience working in Big 4 is preferred
  • Good hands-on experience with MS Excel
  • Experienced in ERP (AccPAC or SAP) is a plus
