Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive and collate the preparation and consolidation of Operating and Capital expense and Headcount, include reporting of budget Profit & Loss statement for each team, prepare internal reports for review with Executive Leadership Team and provide commentary for FP&A’s deck;
  • Drive and collate the preparation of bi-weekly Operating Expense forecast, include working with the operational teams to challenge and refine their forecasts and prepare internal reports/dashboards for Executive Leadership Team’s strategic decisions;
  • Support Non-Gaming Finance team in the monthly closing process by ensuring all expenses are adequately accounted for, include submit accruals for Capital and Operating expense and raise e-IDB for expenses (Utilities, Maintenance Contracts, Waste Management) incurred by Retail Management, Mall Management, and Celebrity Chef Restaurant;
  • Perform variance analysis between actuals vs budgets for Operating Expense and Headcount
  • Prepare monthly Profit & Loss report which includes an analytical review of monthly financial performance across teams, highlighting key variances against comparative periods for last year and budget, as well as key trends/ratios;
  • Reconcile overtime approved in VR against planned hours on bi-weekly basis, include coordinate with respective teams on the variances and also perform variance analysis on overtime hours clocked by respective operation teams and reason codes;
  • Report actual headcount and attrition rate by teams and department total;
  • Monitor capital expenditure and coordinate with Associate Director of FP&A the status of approved capital plans;
  • Verify and administer information in Ariba P2P system;
  • Monitor purchases billed by vendors but Receiving have not been completed in Ariba by generating Invoice Exception Report on a weekly basis and follow up with respective PR requestors and vendors;
  • Follow up with respective PR requestors for Purchase Orders outstanding for 6 months or more;
  • Monitor outstanding accrued expenses to ensure they are invoiced by the vendor within the next 3 months, in accordance with Non-gaming Finance’s policy;
  • Provide administrative support to all teams related to financial or procurement issues
  • Perform other duties as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Possess a Diploma or Degree in Accounting
  • 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Meticulous in numbers and documentation
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate efficiently with stakeholders at all levels
  • An independent worker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
