Job Description

Location: Suntec   

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9am to 6pm

Responsibilities

  • Reports to the Sales & Operations Manager (Singapore)
  • Work closely with the appointed 3PL on warehousing and deliveries matter and lead monthly operational meeting
  • Continuously review the operational procedures to enhance the supply chain process and monitor the services performance through logistics KPIs analysis to measure the target performance of the 3PL
  • Monitor warehouse inventory to maintain ideal stock level at all time
  • Conduct stock reconciliation monthly with product system against 3PL inventory
  • Lead the quarterly and annual warehouse stock take exercise and prepare stock take variance report for management approval
  • Manage the delivery service provider for wholesales, E-commerce and customer deliveries
  • Prepare monthly reports (Inventory aging, warehouse inventory report by category, forecast accuracy and freight and logistics cost analysis)
  • Lead the ERP implementation project
  • Lead Singapore supply chain Annual Operating Plan
  • Proactively identify cost savings opportunities and develop action plan for cost savings
  • Feedback and report timely to local sales team on issues related to warehousing and deliveries, inventory, custom issues and other logistics matters that may affect business
  • Assist in retail store weekly orders to ensure healthy inventory level in retail stores and store order processing
  • In charge of all inbound and outbound related documents for audit check
  • Prepare Singapore monthly core and seasonal product order, place order to Hong Kong Distribution Centre and follow up shipment with freight forwarders
  • Manage and place order with local vendors in local purchases
  • Analyze freight forwarders rates for overseas shipment to ensure utilization of the most cost-effective shipment method
  • Work with sales team on seasonal and new product orders to ensure on time product launches
  • Participate in monthly Store-in-Charge meeting to update on inventory and logistics operation issues if any
  • Assist on ad hoc supply chain / logistics assignment
  • Conduct constant review of procedures and work flow to ensure good quality of work
  • Prepare weekly update on stock situation, product launch, or any project status.
  • Handle system entry relating to supply chain function, including stock movement or shipment process

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma or above in Supply Chain & Logistics or other business discipline
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Supply Chain and Logistics field (preferably in FMCG / food industry) and 2 years in Supervisory role
  • Experience in managing 3PL & suppliers
  • Experience in ERP system AS400 is preferred
  • Strong command in discipline
  • Customer focus and service oriented
  • Team player and builder
