Job Summary:

Assistant Human Resources Manager is the overseer of the Human Resources Department and the insurer of the functions and tasks being carried out by the HR team. He/ She is often seen as the link between an organization’s management and its employees. He/ She assists and support the HR Manager to drive HR Business culture in the department.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Manpower Planning & Acquisitions 

  • Manage and analyse headcount and cost implications resulting from strategic workforce and recruitment plan
  • Manage recruitment; advise on job specs and work within the recruitment budget to hire the best talent
  • Support Business Units in planning their talent pipeline requirements to achieve business strategy
  • Initiate, execute and monitor recruitment activities
  • Develop and update Job Descriptions & competencies
  • Track and analyse recruitment and retention data, propose actions to enhance
  • Conduct end-to-end recruitment activities including interview, selection, offer and acceptance
  • Establish and maintain close rapport with agencies, tertiary institutions by collaborating in career fair/ internship/ learning tour as an effort of company branding
  • Visit stores to follow up on the on-boarding plan and pulse check morale
  • Review and update the on-boarding programme to ensure the program effectiveness is in place
  • Coordinate and delivering induction program to new hires and ensure smooth on boarding procedures

2) Support Role to HR Team 

  • Support in issuing employment contracts, taking into account all relevant statutory terms and benefits
  • Assess feasibility of proposals to improve internal workflows and develop SOP if necessary
  • Review and update HR policy, Compensation & Benefits constantly to ensure stay relevant
  • Review Team’s payroll and follow up their duties or assignments to meet timeline, provide assistance if needed

3) Analytics & Insights & Others 

  • Correlate financial and HR data to design HR metrics, identify causal relationships, analyse trends, develop forecasts and projections, and draw insights and foresights for decision-making
  • Develop insightful presentation derived from data analytics and HR metrics benchmarking using dashboards or data visualization tools
  • Justify the resources required to support changes in resources, procedures, systems, or technology within the function
  • Research and apply prevailing labour policies, employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to tripartism, employment laws for foreign nationals, Fair Consideration Framework,
  • Communicate with employees on areas such as benefits and claims eligibility and administration, payroll deductions, retirement, re-employment and termination guidelines

Experience:

  • Vast knowledge and at least 3 years’ experience in F&B or Retail recruitment
  • At least 2 years of experience in Human Resource as a Senior Executive, preferably in generalist role
  • Experience in managing team
  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Human Resource Management or equivalent.

Working Location: Senoko

Working Hours: 9am-6pm Mon-Fri
