Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist and manage full spectrum of HR functions including talent acquisition, organisation development and employee relations
  • Identify and plan company’s recruitment needs and work with concerned persons to fill positions
  • Responsible for recruitment activities such as drafting and placing job advertisements in accordance with MOM regulations, screening job applications and conducting/arranging interviews, liaise with internal department heads, recruitment agencies etc
  • Follow up with candidates and/or new employees on relevant documents such as employment application forms, pre-employment check, employment contract, and other employee related letters or memos
  • Follow up with associates (trainers, auditors and consultants) on associate agreement
  • Prepare orientation package and conduct orientation briefing for new employees including employee handbook, office policies, procedures and culture followed in the company
  • Apply relevant work pass or permits from MOM and/or relevant authorities (if applicable)
  • Apply and submit insurance details for new employees (if applicable)
  • Liaise with sales team and clients on project management recruitment activities (outsourcing) for their project worksites
  • Initiate performance review and peer review process on a semiannually basis and propose increments, promotions or bonus package to management
  • Propose (with budget), execute and monitor employee recognition schemes and training development
  • Initiate counseling and inquiry/ disciplinary sessions of employees and document the records via company forms and letters etc
  • Keep track on employee turnover and exit rate
  • Manage exit formalities such as exit interviews and hand over process
  • Review and update employee policies and guidelines in accordance with local employment regulations and company’s procedures
  • Manage employees’ claims such as timesheets, leave/ MC applications, transport claims and other miscellaneous claims for approval
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the company

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma/ Degree in Human Resources or other related disciplines from recognised institutions or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years' experience in HR management
  • Good knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act and relevant regulations
  • Driven and results-oriented
  • Well rounded team player to build efficiency and foster a strong team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time-management skills
  • Possess professional integrity and business ethics
