Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth operations for services and programs within the areas of Gymnasium, Tennis, Squash, Pilates, Group Fitness, Recreation & Lifestyle classes, Aquatics and Golf
  • Ensure that The Club’s Fitness & Leisure facilities are best in class by keeping abreast of market trends and practices
  • Maintain a high level of Member engagement and utilization
  • Leads a team of full-time, part-time and contract staff to ensure high service standards, excellent Member experience and high Member satisfaction
  • Oversight for the upkeep of the facilities and the day to day operations of the department
  • Prepares the detailed business plan, capital and operating budgets, forecasts of the business units
  • Management representative for all Fitness & Leisure Committee and sub-Committee meetings

 

Education & Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Sports Management
  • 8-10 years of progressive work experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 5 years in a similar position in the fitness industry
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer driven focus
  • Resourceful, attention to details, creative, and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Must be a high energy, hands-on team player
