Job Role Summary

Role Description
 
• The position holder will provide sustainability and regulatory affairs support to the business.
He/She will also provide inputs to help guide and set business strategies and plans.

Responsibilities:
 
• Work closely with AP Marketing, Technology, and Sales to develop current and future products meet global chemical and end use regulatory requirements
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and assess their impact to the business
• Develop and implement strategies to address/ comply with regulatory changes in Asia Pacific countries, particularly India, Indonesia and China
• Support external engagements with customers to promote awareness of the sustainability benefits of the company’s products and provide updates on regulatory matters
• Serve as company representative to lead and actively participate in key industry association committees and teams
• Provide business unit overview of product stewardship, regulatory compliance, toxicology programs and support other internal reviews as required
 
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical field from a recognized university. Masters and PhD holders are also welcome to apply
• Minimum of five years of experience in a similar regulatory/ sustainability role or technical role
• Effective interpersonal skills and experience working in virtual, global teams
• Strong interpersonal and organizational management skills
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
• Good communication, influencing, and analytical skills
• Able to work with various levels of the organization
• Team player with positive attitude
• Able to travel frequently for business
• Able to join occasional teleconferences outside of normal working hours as required
