Statement Of Purpose (Overall Purpose of Job)
To provide administrative support to the Business Unit and be a lead contact point for Admin, HR, Procurement and Contract etc.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
(A) Specific :
- Assist in updating the Integrated Management System (IMS) for internal and external audits.
- Co-ordinate with project manager on completed documents upon project completion.
- Update, maintain and track the Listing on BCA and Bizsafe license etc.
- Update, maintain and track the Vehicle listing and car services etc.
- Assist in the insurance administration including obtain quotations for retail project.
- Minute Taker
- Process the General Worker’s payroll and time card administration etc.
Procurement and Contract
- Provide Procurement and Contract Administration.
- Handle the purchase orders via EPO for site projects and update EPO, if applicable.
- Request and source for quotations from Sub-contractors/Suppliers.
- Liaise with Vendors, Sub-contractors, Suppliers and internal customers.
- Handle the staff claims and project claims for the buying of pipe and glue, max bond etc.
- Assist in the book-keeping
(B) General :
- Handle and provide administrative duties within the Business Unit.
- Other duties as assigned.
- To follow the safety procedures, rules and regulation and eliminate or reduce hazard at the workplace.
(A) Education, Qualifications & Special Training :
- ‘O’ Level with credits in English and Mathematics or equivalent.
- Job holder without the above qualifications but with relevant experience would be considered.
(B) Knowledge & Skills :
- Meticulous, service oriented, good interpersonal skills and a team player.
- Good working attitude, self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- PC literate and knowledge in MS Office
(C) Experience :
- Preferably with at least 5 years in administrative work in construction industry or in related field.
