Job Description

Job Descriptions:-

Invoices Processing and Payments

• Verify items billed against items delivered and reconcile differences

• Receive and ensure all incoming invoices are properly date stamped;

• Process invoices into accounting system on daily basis

• Prepare cheques for payments/ Initiate bank transfers/ GIRO payments

• Prepares payment vouchers for approval in accordance with payment authorisation matrix on daily

    basis

• Process staff expense claims on timely basis

• File accounts payable documents

• Manages petty cash transactions

• Handle queries from suppliers on outstanding invoices and payment

 

Reconciliation of Creditor Statement

• Reconcile major creditor statements monthly, minor ones quarterly, and ensure all items appearing on the creditor statements relate to current invoices

• Follow up and clear reconciling items on a timely basis

Other functions

• Handle any other ad hoc financial support activities

Job Requirements:-

• Diploma holders or LCCI in Accounting with minimum 1 year of working experience, preferably in Construction sector

• Proficiency in MS Office and Excel

• Able to commence work on short notice
