Before I start, I would like to say, this short paragraph can’t capture how much I love this internship. After going through this internship and doing a little research, I found that my needs and values aligned with that of a financial consultant. Why ACDC? Before this internship, I never could have imagined work would be fun and something I looked forward to every day. However, I have found a new family here at ACDC. This warm and tight-knit community where everyone is willing to help one another is the reason why I chose to stay.

The Great Eastern internship is more than just an internship. Under ACDC guidance, it has more to offer to a computer science student like me who has minimal knowledge about financial planning. Through these six weeks long internship, it has made me realise the importance of financial planning. And even to those who do not consider being a financial consultant next time, this is a great opportunity for all to gain insights on essential interpersonal skill as well as future wealth planning. Meanwhile, knowing someone/ make friends from other universities/courses can also be a takeaway from this internship!!

Requirements:

·       Min qualification: ‘A’ Level or local Diploma or Degree in any field

·       Min Twenty-One years old (Regulatory Requirements)

·       Singaporean and Singapore PR

·       Good personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·       Proven ability to work independently and under pressure

·       Excellent organization and time management skills

The internship will offer:

·       An exciting opportunity to get an insight to Singapore’s financial and insurance industry
