Job Description: 
  • Responsible for overseeing and carrying out all works relating to the safety, health and environmental matters in the project. Managing & arranging for site works with sub-contractors.
  • Work closely with project team & contractors to mitigate and control all high risk hazards to maintain a safe workplace.
  • Ensure overall compliance and good procedures/ practices in statutory environmental and health requirements at workplace at all time.
  • To identify any unsafe condition in the workplace or unsafe work practice is carried out in the worksite.
  • Implement and monitor environmental, health & safety management system on site.
  • Prepare, submit statutory reports and maintain of documentation for all EHS issues according to ISO.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all site activities are carried out in compliance with MOM, NEA and EHS regulations.
  • Attending to all site meetings with owner, consultants and main contractors on all matters relating to the project safety.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities on all environmental and safety issues.
  • Support all in-house EHS initatives 
  • Conduct periodic safety inspection on site
  • Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor
Requirements: 
  • Minimum Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Occupational Health, Occupational Hygiene, Ergonomics, Psychology, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry or other topics relevant to Occupational Safety and Health
  • Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with MOM
  • Possesses internal auditing skill on ISO 14001 & ISO 45001
  • Must be familiar with ConSASS audit
  • Detailed understanding and knowledge on WSH Act, environment & other legal requirements
  • Must have experience overseeing Electrical/Mechanical, Power Supply System  
  • Proactive, independent, able to work with minimal supervision and perform under pressure
  • Possesses high level of initiative and intergrity and good interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills
