We are hiring Manager - Ocean & Air Operations for a company which is the fastest growing predictive supply chain platform, delivering real-time visibility and execution for the broadest network of Fortune 500 companies and third-party logistics firms across all modes.

The Job

Key responsibilities areas :

  • Build, lead, manage, motivate to maximize performance from internal teams across operations and data quality for Pilot/Production customers
  • Design reports and structure to filter report Data from different software systems to measure and monitor issues, cost and occupancy of direct reports
  • Oversee day to day operations, including coordinating team coverage, providing assistance and solving problems
  • Monitor effectiveness and quality in servicing international shipments and customers as well as continuously drive for process improvement
  • Recommend system modifications and future development possibilities.
  • Facilitate, be part of discussions with product/engineer/data science teams in based on users’ feedback (operations team, data quality team, customers, sales/implementation/solution consultants)
  • Manage service escalations with both customers and suppliers
  • Perform within reason any other task that will assist the Company to fulfill the needs of its internal and external customers
  • Liaise with other business units in a professional manner.
  • Facilitate Training/overview for Business units where required. 
  • Communicate to the business any updates that are happening, also what is required of the business to ensure we are meeting customer requirements and reducing manual intervention

The Profile

Key requirements :

  • You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • You have at least 8 years experience, ideally within a Product Manager or Business Manager role.
  • Prior experience within a startup would be a strong advantage.
  • You have a solid prior experience within Technology.
  • You possess excellent communication and business-facing skills, are organised and able to multi-task effectively.
  • You have good interpersonal and communication skills and are adept at working with multiple stakeholders to drive desired outcomes.
  • Expertise in Product Strategy, Development & Launch and Startup Experience would be highly valuable.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
  • You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems
  • You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
