Investment Analyst (Consumer / Oil and Energy Sector)

As a Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission licensed corporation (Type 4 & Type 9), we are the investment adviser to some leading Greater China equity focus hedge funds.
China Alpha Fund Management (HK) Limited has established an affiliate in Singapore, China Alpha Fund Management Pte. Ltd., and to cope with our business expansion, we are seeking high caliber talents to join our professional team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct fundamental research on either Consumer or Oil & Energy Sector;
- Develop detailed financial models, prepare investment memo / research report and generate investment ideas to Portfolio Managers;
- Monitor key macro-economic events and news flows to form a view on the market;
- Research various investment opportunities as assigned by Portfolio Managers.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related disciplines;
- Candidates with previous working experience in the Luxury, FMCG or Oil and Energy companies are highly preferred.
- Strong financial analysis, research and modeling skills;
- Numeric-sensitive with passion in financial sector;
- Strong interpersonal, communication and time-management skills;
- Self-starter with positive attitude and a good team player;
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese;
- Business travel is required;
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
