Responsibilities


  • Responsible for ensuring company procurement policies and procedures are followed.
  • Evaluate price trends, new products, suppliers and processes.
  • Execute strategic sourcing activities (RFQ exercises and Tenders) to suit company's requirements.
  • Generate monthly/ad-hoc procurement reports for management/users information.
  • Understand operations/users requirements to better cater to their needs.
  • Responsible for sourcing of all supplies and product required by users/programs/company.
  • Ensure timely delivery of orders especially during new set ups.
  • Ensure proper selection of suppliers and monitor suppliers’ performance in order to achieve required service standards.
  • Perform negotiation with suppliers to ensure best price achieved.
  • Administer contract agreements (i.e. review with company lawyer terms & conditions of contract, arranging for authorized signatories to sign off).
  • Use of e-Procurement System to review Purchase Requests and to generate Purchase Orders.
  • Verify invoice and make adjustments with requestors, suppliers and finance.
  • Ensure Procurement's KPI meets management target.
  • Submit monthly claims provision report. 
  • Support cargo claims handling administrative work according to group SOP.
  • Arrange payment of insurance-related invoices. 
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications



  • Ability to use standard office Progs (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, etc.). 
  • Soft skills such as good relationship management, strong negotiation skills, time management and having a strategic thinking mindset.
  • A minimum 3 to 4 year of work experience in a Procurement and/or Risk Management setting
  • Open to Graduates with Diploma/Degree in business/finance
  • Legal/Law background would be a plus
