  • This position is for Office of Corporate Communications and Marketing (OCCM).
  • Effectively implement offline and online marketing, advertising, and promotional activities of each portfolio to generate and create awareness and preference for SMU postgraduate programmes.
  • Manage agencies and vendors and provide support with local and regional paid media, including creating ad copy and assets for lead generation campaigns to drive regional growth.
  • Create localized content while maintaining alignment with a global brand, messaging and strategy.
  • Prepare Marketing Scorecard monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Execute social media and content as per content and social media calendar.
  • Ensure marketing activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands, ethical standards and Corporate Business and Safety procedures.
  • Work closely with the corporate marketing team to ensure consistent branding, messaging, and localization of all regionally led communications.
  • Administer procurement duties including but not limited to raising Purchase Orders, processing invoices, inter-changing expense incurred to BUs etc.
  • Liaise with Office of Finance to ensure all payment or invoices reconcile with the purchase orders create and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
  • Prepare bi-monthly forecast report, quarterly phasing report and annual reports for DM budget planning and analyze annual spending trends.
Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Advertising, Marketing, or relevant areas.
  • Min. 3 years of experience and Marketing, with at least 1 year in digital marketing and lead generation and nurturing.
  • Experience in performing administration duties such as raising POs and preparing forecasts a plus.
  • Proven track record in attaining lead generation KPIs.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and marketing operations best practices and tools.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, marketing automation and CRM related marketing technology solutions.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills in English is a MUST. Fluency in other languages is a plus.
  • A keen sense for trends, particularly in youth and adult learning space is a huge plus.
  • A hardworking, creative, self-motivated, and goal-oriented personality.
  • A passion for lifelong learning through and a desire to share that via useful content creation
  • A start-up attitude - highly collaborative with entrepreneurial, roll-up-your sleeves attitude who is not afraid to work independently when required.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven project and time management skills.

Candidates who do not possess the stipulated qualifications but have relevant work experience may still apply. Remuneration and appointment terms shall commensurate with qualifications and experience. SMU reserves the right to modify the appointment terms where necessary.
