Our client is a leading technology solution for construction management. With deep technological expertise and machine learning, they are a market leader in construction data analytics revolutionising the industry.

The Job

As a Business Development Lead, you will be a key driving force behind the fastest-growing tech startup in the construction industry. You will be at the very front lines of the company's expansion as you identify strategic areas for growth and create new opportunities.

Your responsibilities include :

  • Working closely with our clients, proposing innovative solutions to improve their operations and empowering data-driven management decisions through strategic use of technology.
  • Taking charge of client acquisition and creating new business opportunities to maintain the company’s relevance and competitive edge.
  • Managing a team of BD Managers.
  • Extending company's growth by exploring potential prospects, pursuing new leads, and taking charge of deal-making, repeat-sales and partnerships.
  • Conducting market share analysis to develop revenue growth strategies.
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of client pain points and communicating user requirements to improve our product offerings.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to define product scopes and delivering game-changing products.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and gather user feedback to inform product development.
  • Conducting market research to better understand the industry and client operations.
  • Contributing to defining and establishing the company as a leading regional company.
  • Being a trusted and knowledgeable advisor for customers' C-Suite, IT and business leadership.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key partners and executive sponsors.
  • Managing and solving conflicts affecting the account by coordinating, facilitating and operating across internal/external cross-functional partners and relationships.

The Profile

  • You have at least 8 years of experience in enterprise B2B sales and have demonstrated ability to navigate complex multiple stakeholder deal environment.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree with good academic results preferred.
  • You have the ability to generate leads and identify strategic areas for growth .
  • You are independent, focused and driven.
  • You have excellent written and communication skills.
  • You are excellent at developing proposal and presentation slide.
  • You possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to take the initiative to forward team goals.
  • You enjoy solving complex problems with technology.
  • You have strong business acumen, are a team player and results-oriented.
