The Job

This key role will be accountable for the delivery of security engagements to include; risk assessments, compromise assessments, maturity assessments and table top exercises. This is a senior role with an expectation that the above activities can be delivered as an individual contributor from scoping to performing the activities to creating and delivering results to the customers.


To be successful in this role, you must be able to . . .


  • Engage with enterprise customers to provide detailed guidance regarding deployment of the company's solutions and services
  • Manage and deliver cyber security services including assessments
  • Demonstrate ability to understand the concepts of cloud and other emerging technologies, to propose appropriate controls and compliance guidance
  • Demonstrate outstanding skills in analyzing business processes and technical environments within large complex organizations
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the customer engagement (objectives, project scope, business and technical requirements)
  • Lead technical conversations to clarify and assess all aspects of an engagement
  • Play a driving role in scoping meetings and help developing statements of work based on accurate analysis of customer requirements
  • Perform project risk analysis based on technical elements and implement mitigations plans
  • Participate in design workshops with customers and/or partners and provides input as necessary
  • Assist customers through the rollout, migration or go-live phase for the deployed security solution and deliver knowledge transfer sessions
  • Easily translate technical language into business terms
  • Report and clearly communicate analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the overall mission
  • Work efficiently and effectively in a 100% remote/virtual environment

The Profile

  • You have at least 8 years of Cyber Security experience
  • Solid working knowledge of Risk Management, Information Security, Controls, and IT Audit practices or some combination thereof
  • Hands-on Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) solutions design and implementation experience
  • You demonstrate experience in cloud computing technologies (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, etc.), including software-, infrastructure, and platform-as-a-service, as well as public, private, and hybrid environments
  • Strong knowledge of SaaS services, architectures and solutions and their related security controls and requirements
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of industry standards (ISO, NIST, COBIT, COSO, ITIL)
  • Experience implementing and monitoring compliance with policies, standards, and procedures
  • Understanding and appreciation of emerging technology and modern security principles with solid knowledge of core infrastructure and systems
  • Ability to manage through complexity and ambiguity
  • You are self-motivated, directed, and detail-oriented
  • You have the ability to independently manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, virtual team environment
  • You have excellent written and oral communications skills
  • You are a teammate with a high level of integrity
  • You are organized and autonomous with the ability to deliver quality work within commitments and goals

Preferred Education & Certifications:

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Computer science, Business Information Systems, Information Systems Security, Information Assurance or related field or equivalent work experience required
  • One or more of the following certifications, including but not limited to:
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • SANS Global Information Assurance Certifications (GIAC)
  • Certified in Risk & Information Systems Control (CRISC)
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • AWS Certified Administrator
