The Senior Planner position will be directly responsible for the Asia Distribution Centre Planning and Inventory Management activities. This includes ensuring timely availability of inventory as well as the stock replenishments, excess stock management. The Senior Planner will covered from management from ensuring product availability for NPI (New Product Introduction) to Phase-outs/Product Discontinuation.

To manage stocks by maintaining Ideal Inventory Coverage level by Inventory Quality Management (IQM) tool. Control potential sales at risk stock, Surplus stock and non stock available value.
Responsible for ensuring on-time and optimum of inventory and timely replenishment of inventory to internal and external customers so as to meet customer requirement delivery date (OTTR).
Issue purchase order to supplier timely with correct shipping method, follow up supplier and freight forwarder, expedite schedule, delay shipment etc. making decision based on a defined escalation process
Develop and maintain finished goods inventory targets by Inventory Quality Management(IQM) tool for stock item based on Ideal Inventory target, service level objectives, and replenishment lead times
Minimize capital costs by identifying opportunities to decrease excess & surplus inventory while delivering against service level objectives (OTTR).
Work closely with regional inter-company to support all new product launches and product transitions while achieving performance targets on service level (OTTR).
Provide analysis of key KPI's and financial data to identify performance, logistics cost improvement opportunities, and execute on those initiatives.
Work with the global supply teams to address supply & lead time issues in a timely manner.
Responsible for implementing an effective structure/mechanism to collaborate with global, regional and local stakeholders.
Obtain excellence in perfect order fulfilment, cost leverage and sustained productivity, collaborative & innovative strategic partnerships and continuous process improvements.
Responsible for cycle count, stock take, credit note and stock adjustment in Oracle E1 System.
Back up for other team numbers where necessary
All other duties as assigned by manager.
Minimum Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management or Supply Chain.
CSCP, CPIM training and certification preferred
At least of 3 - 5 years relevant working experience in planning and inventory management,
Experience in SAP, Oracle JD Edwards is preferred.
Highly proficient in MS Excel, Power BI
Demonstrated track record of working with teams within complex, global, matrix organizations with a significant number of stakeholders.
Strong analytical and business acumen.
Self-driven, resourceful and results-oriented
Detail oriented and ability to organize large amounts of work and data. This includes the need for good documentation practices.
