Our client is a family-owned company with a niche in international trading and food & agriculture production. They have over 50 subsidiaries located across the world and take pride in cultivating an environment that puts the well-being of their employees first.

The Job

As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing plant operations from warehousing, production, quality control, purchasing, maintenance, etc.
  • Developing feasible workflows for plant operations to run smoothly throughout the year
  • Leading and managing a team of production technicians to meet daily targets
  • Achieving higher efficiency productivity and quality by implementing good manufacturing standards
  • Resolving production issues and coordinating activities alongside the team on a timely basis
  • Managing supply chains of raw materials, packaging, and machinery for existing and new products
  • Training new employees and ensuring standards operating procedures are adhered to
  • Consolidating quantitative and qualitative data for reporting and analysis
  • Planning the weekly and monthly production schedule

The Profile

  • You have at least 3 years of experience and knowledge in production planning and managing production operations, ideally within the F&B manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with F&B certifications (BRC/FSSC22000) and local regulation (SFA, NEA, etc.) will be an advantage
  • You are passionate about the alternative protein industry and willing to learn more about the nascent sector
  • You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, able to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • You demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • You possess strong planning, organization, and project management skills
  • You are able to think strategically
  • You are a highly driven and motivated individual who can work well
