Our client is a family-owned company with a niche in international trading and food & agriculture production. They have over 50 subsidiaries located across the world and take pride in cultivating an environment that puts the well-being of their employees first.
As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for:
Overseeing plant operations from warehousing, production, quality control, purchasing, maintenance, etc.
Developing feasible workflows for plant operations to run smoothly throughout the year
Leading and managing a team of production technicians to meet daily targets
Achieving higher efficiency productivity and quality by implementing good manufacturing standards
Resolving production issues and coordinating activities alongside the team on a timely basis
Managing supply chains of raw materials, packaging, and machinery for existing and new products
Training new employees and ensuring standards operating procedures are adhered to
Consolidating quantitative and qualitative data for reporting and analysis
Planning the weekly and monthly production schedule
You have at least 3 years of experience and knowledge in production planning and managing production operations, ideally within the F&B manufacturing industry.
Familiarity with F&B certifications (BRC/FSSC22000) and local regulation (SFA, NEA, etc.) will be an advantage
You are passionate about the alternative protein industry and willing to learn more about the nascent sector
You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, able to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
You demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
You possess strong planning, organization, and project management skills
You are able to think strategically
You are a highly driven and motivated individual who can work well
