This position is responsible for planning and executing of all budgets / costs in the factory to manage cost and secure profitability and analyzing the settlement results of monthly manufacturing / sales cost to identify cost reduction and maximize profitability. The candidate is also responsible for managing and conducting due diligence of the production corporation's fixed assets and inventories, managing budget of the factory, optimizing cost and operating cost optimization committee.


Roles & Responsibilities:

Standard Cost Planning / Analysis

• Establish criteria for analyzing the cost of performance by setting standard material costs and standard processing costs
• Identify inefficient processes and devise/implement cost reduction plan through analysis of standard and performance differences

Cost Settlement Result Analysis

• Perform manufacturing cost and sales cost settlement after monthly cost closing and Provide the result to the staff in charge of profit-and-loss closing
• Analyze the results of cost closing after monthly cost closing to discover cost reduction factors

Cost System Construction

• Support building cost system optimized for the smart factory in cooperation with the IT department and finance department in both client and their HQ
• Support the expansion of advanced cost system to global HMC plant

Factory Budget Management

• Manage investment budgets and current budgets in the factory and check the feasibility

Inventory Management

• Manage assets of production materials and secure asset soundness by checking the consistency with the actual products
• Acquire approval through the appropriate procedure in the case of changes such as damage and loss of materials
• Match books and the actual objects and prevent cost distortion
• Conduct inventory due diligence at regular intervals
• Check the efficiency of capital operation through full-scale inventory management of materials, MIP, and finished vehicles
• Take appropriate action in advance to discuss with relevant departments if long-term inventory is expected
• Minimize unusable inventory due to over-ordering by checking the appropriate quantity of material

Cost Reduction

• Support cost reduction activities for each cost element and collect and evaluate the results
• Manage the cost elements in connection with KPI in the production sector
• Share best practices and take actions for the areas required to be improved further by operating a committee

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in economics / business administration or related disciplines
• Min. 8 years of experience in cost accounting (sales cost settlement, inventory asset management, etc.)
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing industry
• Technical skills in actual cost settlement using CO module of SAP system
• Technical skills in analyzing cost structure and manufacturing cost
• Understanding of cost accounting and rational allocation of costs
• Technical skills in analyzing big data by using analytical tools such as R, Python, etc.
