The Job
You will be responsible for :
 

  • Providing Level 2 support and troubleshooting
  • Escalating technical issues to the relevant parties when needed and following up till the issues are closed.
  • Ensuring all standards and procedures are followed and maintained.
  • Answering queries and resolving issue relating to the usage of standard applications and IT services.
  • Providing monthly help desk reports.
  • Maintaining and supporting the network infrastructure.
  • Monitoring system performance and ensuring reliability and availability.
  • Recommending infrastructure solutions to meet the business requirement in compliance with IT policy & procedure.
  • Analysing, monitoring, configuring and maintaining existing systems and identify room for improvements.
  • Ensuring the overall system and server uptime, availability, reliability and security.
  • Liaising with 3rd party vendors, IT providers, etc. for specific requirements.
  • Troubleshooting system/server issues or outages.


The Profile

  • You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience within a System Administrator, Helpdesk/Technical Support or Network /Systems Engineer role.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure Systems (CoreOS, Ganeti, OpenStack etc.) would be highly valuable.
  • You are familiar with UNIX operating systems and have ITIL certifications.
  • Fluency in French is required to be able to communicate with and support clients
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
  • You are a strong mentor and coach who can build high performing teams
  • You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
