Business Assurance Officer (Direct Sales) | 6 mos Contract

Responsibilities:
-
Support to manage business risks within Direct Sales in order to minimize potential regulatory breaches and operational losses due to failure of people and procedures. -
Identifying emerging risk issues and associated controls and procedures to supplement Financial Intermediaries and BIM (Business Implementation Manual) -
Implement the established governance framework by conducting periodic Key Control Assessments and testing on different processes within all Direct Sales channels, i.e. Mortgage Sales & Retention, Third Party Distribution channels. -
Raise gaps or issues on non-compliance including procedural lapses, report and escalate issues. -
Collaborate with respective channel on action items and remediation -
Summarize and submit results of monthly key control assessments to Senior Vice President Direct Sales Business Assurance Head for reporting to Direct Sales monthly management committee meeting
Requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any similar field -
Has more than 2 years of experience in risk management function -
Knowledge and experience in retail banking operations will be beneficial -
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) -
Ability to manage multiple tasks and demonstrate analytical and documentation skills -
Ability to work with minimal supervision
