Position Overview:

Omnivision Technologies is a leading developer of advanced digital imaging solutions, with best-in-class CMOS image sensor technology. In the Singapore ASIC Design Centre, you would be part of an experienced and talented design team to develop Camera Processor SoC, with integrated artificial intelligence & image signal processing, for smart home, security, automotive & IoT applications.  This position will work closely with the on site ASIC & S/W teams and an off-site ASIC verification team to primarily verify pre/post silicon IPs and provide control code for various IPs to software teams.



Responsibilities:

This position will: 
- develop software for and execute system level pre-silicon IP verification on FPGA-based or other platforms; and post-silicon verification
- deliver bare metal control-code with any required workarounds, assist or lead bring up and replicate functionality on Linux or RTOS based environment
- benchmark/optimize/tune code & IP for speed/power/size
- review and study chip specification with a view to testability and implementation
- drive increased coverage via automation


Requirements:

Must have:
- at least 7 years of Linux or RTOS based embedded software development experience on larger SoCs and interfacing with hardware
- Strong knowledge of ARM SoC processor, memory, bus and peripheral architectures
- Experience working with hardware and scopes
- Strong C and ARM ASM implementation knowledge
- Strong communication and documentation skills

Advantageous to have:
- familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Git, Confluence
- FPGA and hardware design knowledge
- knowledge of embedded video pipelines and standards
