PMO Business Analyst | Contract

As a PMO Business Analyst, you will analyze an organization and design its processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology. Assess current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution. Research, gather and synthesize information. This role is to report to client Project Manager.
Maintenance Work Planning
- Develop maintenance work plan
- Propose continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen compliance, cybersecurity posture and improve work processes
Compliance & Cybersecurity Management
- Ensure system adhere to applicable standards, policies and directives
- Oversee annual self-check and rectification to address gaps
- Monitor and strengthen system security posture, ensure vulnerability is timely mitigated and patched
- Support all audit activities, oversee resolution of audit findings
Incident/Problem Management
- To lead investigation and resolution of problems
- Perform defect trend analysis to address recurring incident
Change and Service Request (CR, SR) Management
- Gather requirements from Business Users and oversee CR and SR Assessment
- Seek approval from Change Control Board for CR and Ops Manager for SR implementation
- Manage CR and SR implementation to ensure satisfactory and timely delivery with users
- Analyse SR trends and propose improvement to the system
Obsolescence Management
- Track and manage remediation for obsolete system components
- Manage the retirement and disposal of obsolete system components
Job Qualifications
- At least a Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of IT working experience; Experience in project management/coordination; Experience/certified in the relevant field of the project requirement
- Good knowledge in information technology, especially in the areas of technologies used in the project
- Good planning and coordination skills
- Excellent writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Good team player, responsible and conscientious
- Resourceful, independent, responsive, and proactive
- Proficiency in Office productivities suites like Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
