Team Introduction

The Video Cloud department mainly provides quality assurance for all video services related to our video infrastructure. The main supported businesses include Douyin, Xigua, Toutiao, TikTok, Dali Education and other mainstream apps. Multimedia middle platform (Video Cloud) is one of the world's leading video platforms, providing media storage, transcoding and streaming services. We are committed to building the next generation video processing platform and the largest live broadcast network to provide an excellent experience for billions of users around the world. The role of solution engineer requires in-depth understanding of the video cloud business architecture, helping internal/external business parties to deepen product awareness, promote product optimization, and output the best solution in combination with product capabilities. As a technical expert, you will be working closely with the Product R & D team to promote continuous optimization of products, tools, and processes.

What you will be doing:

1. Lead, and manage the Video Cloud products plan and strategy such as Video-On-Demand/Live/Realtime Communication and other products including implementation and commercialising of products;

2. Research and analyst competitive products in the market such as cutting-edge trends in the video field, and output the decision-making basis;

3. Develop and maintain project plans for website initiatives managing cross-functional resources, stakeholders, timelines, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery

4. Lead alignment with stakeholders, including but not limited to engineers and designers on prioritization and changes to ensure product realization and delivery is smooth;

5. Work with the sales and pre-sales team to provide them with the necessary tools and support to quickly showcase the products, increasing the scale and revenue.

6. Participate in a cross-functional Growth Squad that spans marketing and product

What you should have:

- At least 3 years of experience in product management in Live/Short Video Applications/Video Cloud/Video-On-Demand/Live/PaaS/SaaS related.

- Familiar with the product services of Video Cloud/Video-On-Demand/Live/Realtime Communication service, highly sensitive to industrial dynamic changes, and focusing on cutting-edge technical solutions;

- Strong execution ability, product design, and commercial packaging ability, and product understanding;

- Strong teamwork and communication skills, active thinking, learning ability, and adaptability;

- Proactive, able to work under pressure, strong initiative, and product ownership.
