Job Summary

We are seeking a electrical and instrumental superintendent to join our team at the shipyard. The successful candidate will oversee the new build electrical installation, retrofitting & conversion work for various marine vessels & maintenance of equipment and facilities in the shipyard.

Responsibility

1. Plan and coordinate electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work for marine vessels

2. Ensure that all electrical work is completed according to safety regulations and standards

3. Provide technical guidance and support to the electrical team

4. Manage and allocate resources to complete projects on time and within budget

5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and minimize downtime

6. Maintain accurate records of work orders, materials, and equipment usage

7. Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated

8. Participate in regular safety meetings and inspections

9. Train and develop the electrical team members

Requirements:

1. Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

2. At least 5 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work in the marine industry

3. Familiarity with marine electrical systems and equipment

4. Good knowledge of safety regulations and standards

5. Strong leadership and communication skills

6. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

Willing to work on shift, weekends and public holidays
