Reporting to the General Counsel, you will be responsible for :
Reviewing and drafting contracts relating to the company's business and operations
Advising and supporting on specific issues such as competition, personal data protection and telecommunications, and communications where necessary with regulators such as IMDA and PDPC
Contributing as part of data protection office
Staying updated on laws and regulations dealing with competition, data security, consumer protection, marketing, privacy and telecommunications.
Drafting internal compliance and regulatory protocols
Collaborating with teams to build effective and scalable processes for legal & regulatory reviews of all matters
You have a law degree with at least 2 years in a Singapore law firm & inhouse legal team, preferably working on regulatory matters
A passion for technology and ability to understand technical frameworks relating to critical infrastructure such as telecommunications
Strong knowledge of Singapore’s company law, competition law, cyber security and data protection law is required
You are familiar with laws and regulations relating to telecommunications, including interconnect/number portability framework and strategies, and critical infrastructure regulations
You have strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
You have a passion for technology with the ability to understand technical frameworks relating to critical infrastructure such as telecommunications
You are able to navigate ambiguity and evolving regulatory spaces, as well as provide practical, solutions-oriented legal and regulatory, and compliance advice
You have strong integrity, discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality
You have exceptional written, communication and interpersonal skills
