As an entry-level Analyst, the Candidate will be supporting investment managers by conducting various forms of research, analysing market trends, assisting with investment reports, preparing management accounts, and coordinating with stakeholders with filing and compliance.

General Outline of Job Scope

• Conduct thorough research and fact-check data to evaluate various investment opportunities and economic trends with a focus on physical real estate, real estate debt and listed real estate companies.

• Analyse financial statements, crunch relevant data, perform industry research, and build cashflow models to assess investment potential and risks.

• Write investment memos or reports, presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior investment professionals.

• Work with compliance team on management accounts, audit, and tax filing.

• Assist the investment team with ad-hoc projects and other tasks as required.

Who are we looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Working proficiency in accounting, being able to understand financial accounts.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify and communicate complicated information.

• Ability to take initiative and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.

• Good organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.

• Good attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

• No more than 2 years of working experience.

• Japanese language would be a plus.
