  • Develop and implement an integrated digital engagement strategy and identify digital engagement touchpoints for the global alumni community.
  • Increase the engagement and volunteer levels of the alumni community through digital innovation.
  • Create a seamless and positive digital experience for alumni.
  • Strategise and manage the curation and presentation of digital engagement content.
  • Identify the needs of alumni by engaging SMU stakeholders, alumni groups and chapters.
  • Manage the digital alumni engagement platform and drive user adoption.
  • Drive online conversations and build communities.
  • Design and curate digital events and activities to serve alumni’s needs through segmentation.
  • Improve SMU’s knowledge of our alumni and their needs by gathering information on their participation in online activities, interaction and usage trends.
  • Analyse data, derive insights and propose recommendations on improving digital alumni activities and events.
  • Develop key metrics and measurement reports to evaluate the success of digital alumni engagement efforts.

Qualification

  • Bachelor Degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in digital engagement, marketing and event management.
  • Digitally savvy, with proven track record in developing and managing digital content and driving conversations on online community platforms.
  • Strong understanding of the digital and social media landscape and trends, with experience in managing digital engagement initiatives for targeted audience segments.
  • Proficient in utilising a range of digital engagement and content management tools.
  • Proven experience in using web and digital analytics tools, with the ability to interpret data and create analytics reports.
  • A good team player with excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
  • Proactive with an innovative mindset, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to multi-task and is detailed.
  • Able to work independently and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates who do not possess the stipulated qualifications but have relevant work experience may still apply. Remuneration and appointment terms shall commensurate with qualifications and experience. SMU reserves the right to modify the appointment terms where necessary.
