Our client is a Luxury Fashion Brand, the Front-End Developer develops custom design ideas into fully semantic and interactive front-end code, as well as managing the interchange of data between the server and its end users.

The Job

As a Director, Economic Policy you are responsible for :

  • You will play a critical role in working with various internal and external stakeholders to develop policy alignment in line with OUR CLIENT’s overall strategic outcomes. You will report to the Director, Policy Division.
  • Identifying strategic drivers of OUR CLIENT's worker outcomes and provide policy direction on OUR CLIENT's Economic Policy agenda
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to develop policy alignment, research and data analysis
  • Reviewing Economic Policies, Policy variations/updates and research plans in line with OUR CLIENT’s overall strategic outcomes for the following:
  • Reviewing union structures and corresponding membership and union management policies to adapt to evolving employment landscape

Progression policies for the engagement and development of workers in the following spaces: 

i.     Women & Family 

ii.     Young Workers 

iii.     Future Workforce

iv.     Freelancers

  • Placement of both union members and non-unionized workers
  • Evaluating Labour Movement’s position in supporting the Industry Transformation Maps 
  • Privileges.  Develop guiding framework on privileges for different target group of members
  • Assess and identify areas for strategic policy reviews, determine review scope and supervise the conduct of reviews
  • Shape or conduct studies to deepen understanding of manpower issues and gain insights on effectiveness of OUR CLIENT's initiatives and strategies
  • Provide policy support for OUR CLIENT's participation in national platforms where economic policies are deliberated

The Profile

They are looking for candidates who

  • Having the relevant qualification and is familiar or have experience in economic policies deliberation and formulation
  • Having strong leadership and supervisory track record.
  • High level of integrity and dependability, resonate with the Labour Movement mission of helping the working people, and the core values of Do Well, Do Good, Do More, Do Together.
