We are hiring Management Associate for a lightening design consulting firm. Through combining design, engineering, and the latest technology in lighting solutions, their capabilities extend from paper sketches to final switch-on impacting lives and creating memorable lighting experiences. 


The Job

Key responsibilities areas :


  • Leading a team of engineers to deliver winning products.
  • Setting the project scope, timelines and budget as well as resource planning and activities scheduling.
  • Working closely with various stakeholders on project related matters.
  • Overseeing all aspects of the management and operations of the project to ensure smooth execution.
  • Analysing risks and mitigating these in order to ensure that the project is delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Ensuring the project is in compliance with internal guidelines as well as regulatory standards and requirements.
  • Ensuring the development of well-designed and testable code.
  • Gathering and evaluating user feedback.
  • Providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents.
  • Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging to optimise performance.
  • Ensuring effective and efficient maintenance services of electrical and field instruments and resolving any electrical and instrumentation issues.
  • Ensuring electrical and instrument maintenance as per best practice, corporate policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Acting as a first point of contact for complex repairs and working closely with vendors to address and resolve technical issues.
  • Designing and developing new products within design cycle time.
  • Meeting target cost and manufacturability considerations.
  • Identifying and evaluate opportunities for implementing automation to improve productivity and quality.
  • Programming and testing of robots.
  • Managing, maintaining and improving automation systems.
  • Identifying the root causes of faults or problems by conducting Root Cause Analysis.
  • Preparing and implementing project schedules and managing all aspects of project planning.
  • Analysing and reporting on progress, performance and forecast on a regular basis.

The Profile

Key competencies :

  • You possess a degree/diploma in Electrical, Electronics and Mechanical engineering.
  • You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • You have at least 2 years experience, ideally within a Engineering, Project Management or Software Engineer role.
  • Expertise in AR/ VR, Artificial Intelligence, Electronics Design, Electrical & Instrumentation, IOT, IoT/ Automation, Project Design, Project Planning, Root Cause Analysis and Startup Experience would be highly valuable.
  • You have solid experience in a regional role
  • You possess excellent communication and influencing skills, are organised and able to multi-task effectively.
  • You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems
  • You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
  • You are a strong mentor and coach who builds high performing teams
