Barista
Assist in daily F&B operations of taking orders, serving, managing cashiering duties
• Perform any duties assigned by the manager
• Ensure cleanliness of premise, equipment and adhere to health, safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Provide prompt and good customer service, informing customers of current store promotion
• Able to multi task and familiarized with these areas:
➢ Espresso Bar Station
➢ POS Station
➢ Sandwich Station
➢ Cold Beverage Station
➢ Café Station(Bussing)
➢ Back of House (Prep. Work)
Requirements
- Minimum GCE ‘N’ level and above or related certificates in the related position
- At least 2 years’ experience working in F&B as Barista or similar field
- Computer literate
- Passion about coffee
- Creative and passionate
- Execute coffee beverages by customer request
- Make all coffee drinks ordered and juice bar drinks
- Make and serve coffee drinks and provide customer service
- Serve a variety of classic espresso-based drinks, blended coffee beverages, non-coffee beverages plus limited time offers
- Explaining difference in coffee beans and coffee preparation machines
- Taking orders from customers and expediting coffee-espresso drinks and related food and beverage items
- Making superior filter and espresso coffee
- Serve great espresso and coffee drinks according to recipes while providing guests with excellent customer service
- Prepare and serve great espresso and coffee drinks according to recipes
- Work in the coffee bar with additional barista duties
- Choose and grind coffee beans or educate customers on coffee products
- Prepare and sell coffee drinks and other blended drinks according to specified recipes
- Grow knowledge of coffee and customers
- Serve specialty coffee drinks with exceptional attention to customers' needs
- Make coffee, tea, and other drinks to customer specifications
- Prepare coffee, specialty drinks, bottled drinks, and baked and prepared goods
- Maintain inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies for coffee bar
- Serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas
- Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold within the department and be able to respond to questions and make suggestions about products
- Prepare coffee shop items per customer requests using proper coffee shop equipment
