  • This position is for Office of Campus Infrastructure and Services (OCIS)
  • Work with Assistant Director to undertake day-to-day project management of space management projects - during the space planning, design (drafting of layout plan), procurement (calling for ITQ), project execution, handover, and post-handover stages
  • Review user requirements relating to the projects
  • Prepare infographic reports and 3D visuals for space management projects
  • Engage contractors/vendors on project scope for quotation submission
  • Verify quotations and invoices submitted by the contractors and vendors
  • Attend user engagement sessions and project meetings to track progress of projects
  • Monitoring of space utilization and allocation/usage according to approved space norms
  • Assist in space planning studies to review space norms and preparation of reports
  • Update Service and Space Request Management System (SSRMS), including uploading of asbuilt drawings for completed space management and campus development projects
  • Assist to verify Space Management data on OCIS’ CISA Dashboard


  • Diploma and/or Degree, preferably in Building /Architecture
  • 3 to 5 years relevant work experience in project management
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Powerpoint
  • Hands-on working knowledge of Autocad and 3D rendering software (eg Revit, SketchUp)
  • Good working knowledge in preparing infographic reports
  • Organizational and communication (written and spoken) skills
  • Good team player and able to work independently

Candidates who do not possess the stipulated qualifications but have relevant work experience may still apply. Remuneration and appointment terms shall commensurate with qualifications and experience. SMU reserves the right to modify the appointment terms where necessary
