Job Description

Accounting Manager

We are seeking Accounting Manager to join our Singapore team.

You will report to the Regional Senior Financial Controller, Asia and will lead a team of accounting personnel.

What are the roles and responsibility?

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements
  • Ensure accurate journal entries and allocations are correctly maintain
  • Ensure the agents’ account reconciliation are up to date and collection is done on time
  • Carry out cost studies, cost planning and control and cost analysis.
  • Oversee and manage the cash flow for the station.
  • Reconcile accounts and provide analysis for the organisation’s financial transactions
  • Compile accurate tax-related information for the organisation
  • Prepare employees’ income tax and GST
  • Provide accurate and timely tax and financial reports to the relevant authorities
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Manage accounts payable and receivables to help the organisation determine working capital needs and funding strategies
  • Oversee Monthly Bank reconciliations/ Supplier reconciliations/HO reconciliations
  • Plan and coordinate the annual financial audit process
  • Respond to internal and external auditors on audit data, variances and audit findings
  • Resolve issues and deficiencies arising from audit findings
  • Extract data and provide analysis for management using relevant accounting information systems or software

Requirement for the role

  • At least an ACCA / Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
